My new toy

My new favorite toy is the laundry basket. I prefer pushing it around on the floor in front of me but I also like it when mamma puts me inside it!

Memorial Weekend

Last weekend I had lots of fun with my family. I went to Pasadena with my grandparents and my dad´s cousin Ava, and I also did a lot of sightseeing with my mamma and daddy. We saw the merry-go-round in Griffith Park but all I did was sleep.

I love carrots (and the weekend)

I have started eating solids and I love it. I especially like carrots and bananas. This week my Auntie Lena came to visit and we played a lot. This weekend is memorial day weekend so we might do something exciting but not sure what yet....

On the move

Last week I started moving forward. Not really crawling, more like dragging my body or something. It´s fun because now I can move all around the living room and hide under the dining table. Mamma and Daddy have given up trying to keep me on my playmat.

Hurra for 17.mai!

Yesterday was Norwegian National Day and I celebrated it with my good friend Henry in Los Feliz. I don´t know the national anthem yet but maybe next year I can learn it. I had a great time, and so did my parents who had hot dogs and ice cream :)

I love eating but I usually prefer holding the cutlery myself and making a complete mess. Today all the cereal tipped on the floor and mamma had to quickly wipe up the mess from the carpet. Oh well, as long as I get my food..... On another note, for the past couple of days I have sat up all on my own. Will post a video soon :)

I love the weekend

Shots, ouch!

Today I had my 6 month shots. I cried (some would say screamed) for a bit but then it was ok. Better than getting sick I guess. And they put nice band-aids on my thighs. I am apparently a big girl both when it comes to height and weight. Not many babies my age are bigger. At least my mamma doesn´t have to worry about me not eating enough!
I now eat cereal once a day (in addition to all the milk mamma gives me) with a little portion of veggies at the end. My favorite so far is sweet potato, today I think I will have peas for the first time.... or maybe carrots.....

Mamma thought it would be nice to put this picture of me up, because I look like a cute turtle.... An old lady at the Farmers´ Market asked if I was for sale today but mamma said no :)

1/2 a year

Yesterday I turned 6 months (hooray) and spent the day chilling in Malibu at my grandparents´ house.

Did any of you know I can do a mean riverdance? Uncle Karim didn´t have to ask twice, I showed him how it is done.....

Marit Larsen, a banana and I

All good blogs should have a celebrity posted on it once in a while and here is my first one. I did meet Julia Roberts in an elevator a few months ago but my mummy didn´t ask for any pictures so I can only tell the story of that.
However, this week my uncle Karim came with Marit Larsen (big star in Norway) to play a concert and she thought I was a very cute baby. And she was eating this enormous chocolate and nut-covered banana which I really wanted to taste.....

LA marathon next!

My uncle figured out my hidden talent of running if he whistles (and holds me). My turning is especially good!

Back at the pool

Today I went swimming with my mum, uncle Karim and my grandad. We took some more videos of me underwater. I am still enjoying it a lot, I didn´t cry today either.

Last Sunday I went to the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena with my mummy, daddy and grandad. I loved all the beautiful flowers, especially all the roses....
